Implementation, data migration, configuration, and training are included in the subscription at no additional cost. Extensive custom development, custom-built reports or integrations, or a full re-implementation are the only exceptions, quoted and approved in writing before work starts.

Fit

When Oracle fits, and when Workzoom does.

Both are real products with real customers. The right one depends on your size, your ERP and your provinces.

Oracle is likely the better fit if

You run Oracle Fusion ERP and want HR, payroll and finance in one Oracle cloud.
You have at least 500 employees, the minimum on Oracle's list price (S5).
Much of your workforce is in Quebec and you want Relevé 1 and Relevé 2 from your vendor's published list (C1).
You pay people in many countries from one system.

Workzoom is likely the better fit if

You have fewer people than Oracle's 500-person list minimum.
You want Canadian-dollar pricing per employee and no long-term contract.
You want to keep PeopleSoft for now and add scheduling and time beside it.
You want the people who implement the system to answer your support calls.

Workzoom is not the right choice for a group that wants HR, payroll and finance from one vendor, or one that needs full payroll outside Canada, the United States, and the Bahamas.

We run NetSuite for finance. Does SuitePeople cover Canadian payroll?

Definitions and references

PeopleSoft HCM is Oracle's on-premises HR and payroll suite. Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM is Oracle's cloud HR suite, with Oracle Payroll for Canada as its Canadian payroll (C1, C2).
ROE is the Record of Employment, which an employer issues to Service Canada when an employee has an interruption of earnings. T4 and T4A are the year-end income slips filed with the CRA.
