What employers actually ask about Anguilla ASSB.

The most common questions Anguilla employers ask about ASSB, filing, and payroll integration.

The Anguilla ASSB calculator works out Anguilla Social Security Board (ASSB) contributions and Interim Stabilisation Levy (ISL) deductions on any gross pay. It applies the current 5% employer and 5% employee ASSB rate to the XCD 6,500 monthly insurable ceiling, and the 3% employer and 3% employee ISL rate to a separate XCD 12,000 monthly ceiling. Enter gross pay and frequency for employer and employee math in seconds.
Workzoom applies the current ASSB rate of 5% for the employer and 5% for the employee on insurable earnings up to the XCD 6,500 monthly ceiling. The combined contribution is 10% of insurable pay. Rates are set by the Anguilla Social Security Board and collected in a single monthly remittance covering both shares.
The Interim Stabilisation Levy is a separate statutory deduction administered by the Anguilla Inland Revenue Department, matched at 3% employer and 3% employee on earnings up to a XCD 12,000 monthly ceiling, a higher threshold than the ASSB ceiling. It has been in effect since 1 January 2011. Workzoom calculates it in parallel with ASSB and produces the monthly return automatically.
The ASSB SS1 contribution schedule is filed quarterly, due the 15th day following quarter end. The Interim Stabilisation Levy return is filed monthly with the Inland Revenue Department, due the 15th of the following month. Workzoom generates both from the same payroll close, so neither deadline is missed.
With Workzoom, maximum insurable earnings for ASSB are XCD 6,500 per month. The Interim Stabilisation Levy applies its own, higher ceiling of XCD 12,000 per month. Earnings above each respective ceiling are not subject to that deduction, though the two ceilings apply independently.
The Anguilla Social Security Board administers ASSB contributions, which fund age, invalidity, survivors, sickness, and maternity benefits. The Interim Stabilisation Levy is collected by the Inland Revenue Department as a separate monthly return, distinct from the quarterly ASSB schedule.
