What happens, and when

Once contracts are signed and initial payment is processed, implementation kicks off. Meet once a week or multiple times, depending on how focused you want to be. Most clients are live within weeks, not months.

Before Day 1

Use the data template below to prep your employee data. Export what you can from your current system. Names, hire dates, contact info, pay rates. The more you bring on Day 1, the faster you're live.

Meet your Coach and Liaison. Walk through Workzoom together and set priorities. What modules matter most? What's the timeline? You decide, we plan.

First Sessions

Personnel data, org structure, compensation. These three pieces are the backbone everything else builds on. Your Coach leads the project, configuring backend policies and adjusting pre-built workflows. Your Liaison supports specific module topics alongside.

Ongoing

Once the foundation is set, your Coach leads complex modules: Time Off, Payroll, Benefits, and Scheduling. Your Liaison configures Recruiting, Onboarding, and Performance. You learn each one in your sandbox and verify it aligns with how your team actually works.
