A Learning Management System (LMS) delivers, tracks, and reports on employee training and certification.

Compliance industries (healthcare, gaming, finance) need an LMS to prove regulatory training. Workzoom Learning is an LMS built into the talent suite, with course assignment by position and certification expiry tracking.
How LMS works.
A learning management system delivers training content, records completion, and reports on it. In regulated environments the reporting is the whole point: the system has to show who was assigned what, who completed it, when, and when that certification expires. Assignment is normally driven by role, location, or licence, which means it depends on current position data rather than a hand-maintained list.
Where LMS goes wrong.
- Training assigned to a static list rather than to a role means movers and new hires get silently missed, since nobody updates the list when the org chart changes.
- Completion recorded without an expiry date hides a lapsed certification until an audit, or worse an incident, finds it. And completion data held only inside the LMS is unavailable at the moment scheduling needs to check whether someone is qualified to work a shift.
- 2000 Running payroll since Workzoom has run Canadian payroll for 25+ years.
- Canadian data residency AWS Canada (ca-central-1). Canadian customer data stays in Canada.
- SOC 2-aligned controls Encrypted at rest, role-based access, immutable audit logs.
- Trusted in production County of Renfrew, Silvera for Seniors, and Cable Bahamas. Built for 50 to 5,000 employees.
