The rates took effect July 1, 2024 and the ceiling rises on July 1, 2026. Workzoom applies these rates automatically on every pay run.
With Workzoom, maximum insurable earnings are B$810 per week (B$42,120 per year) through June 30, 2026, and B$830 per week (B$43,160 per year) from July 1, 2026 forward. The C10 monthly remittance form is due by the 15th of the month following the pay period. A January C10 is due by February 15th. Late C10s trigger a statutory surcharge and interest on the outstanding balance. Workzoom generates the C10 automatically from payroll data.
The C10 is a monthly remittance form listing NIB contributions for each insured employee for one pay period. The C13 is an annual reconciliation that aggregates twelve months of C10 data per employee for year-end filing. Both come from the same payroll engine in Workzoom.
Workzoom reports every employer's NIB contributions to the National Insurance Board through standard payroll processing. Every employer must contribute NIB for each employee earning above the minimum insurable threshold. Self-employed individuals contribute at a combined rate covering both employer and employee portions.
Yes. Workzoom runs NIB across Nassau, Freeport, Grand Bahama, and the Family Islands from a single database. Island Luck, for example, runs eight payrolls per week across 60+ locations on Workzoom, with NIB calculated per employee and consolidated into one C10 remittance per reporting period.
